Skin Changes. What do I mean by that? I mean those odd, sometimes scaly, rough spots that pop up out of nowhere when you are around mid-life and have spent any decent amount of time in the sun throughout your life and have pale skin, like me. Unfortunately, as the few I have are on my head, I can't give you a photo to show you what I'm talking about. Those are the spots that if left untreated get a little darker and scarier and make you wonder what's going on under there. They are the spots that the experts tell you to keep an eye on, but when you get sufficiently freaked out to go see said expert, they say "Oh, that's nothing to worry about". Come back when it is an actual problem that we can treat with medication or cutting. Okay, so no Dr. ever actually said the last sentence to me.
In my usual non-degreed medical amateur way, I have been caring for those pesky little spots with a variety of essential oils, primarily Frankincense, Orange and Sandalwood. I dab some on when I think about it which may be twice a day, or twice a week...very random. So far, after a month or so of this careless treatment, one has gone and the other has shrunk. I go by feel, so again, no actual data. Sorry, you just have to take my tale as true. : )
You like my non specific and no-control method of describing how I fix strange stuff that happens on my skin, lol?
